Vintage Indiana Amber Marigold Iridescent Carnival Depression Glass Pretzel Glass Celery Trinket Dish ~ Pattern 622

This beautiful pressed glass oval celery dish looks perfect as a bread or crackers tray, it’s large enough for asparagus and of course, celery.  It is in the Pretzel pattern, originally issued by Federal Glass in the 1930’s through 1960’s in clear glass, also in amber, blue, green and teal.  Indiana Glass reissued the pattern in the late 1960’s through the late 1970’s, but this time in olive green as well as a gold-tone (like amber) carnival glass and also a milk glass version.  We are guessing this one is from the 1930’s but we could not confirm if Indiana Glass re-issued the clear glass too.  Could serve as a candy dish, for nuts, olives, crackers or small appetizers. If you have three, they work great to house your forks, spoons and knives on a buffet table.

We also carry several other glass dishes in this pattern, if you’re interested.
